Cloud Engineer

Location: Hanoi

Base salary range: Negotiable based on experience

I. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Consult on and deploy optimal Cloud infrastructure architectures (High Availability, Scalability, Cost Optimization) for clients.
  • Design system architectures and consult on optimal technical solutions on AWS/GCP.
  • Deploy Web Server services (Nginx, Apache) and applications on Linux/Windows platforms.
  • Manage system performance, set up monitoring and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
  • Troubleshoot critical Cloud infrastructure incidents, analyze root causes, and provide preventive solutions.
  • Learn and participate in writing basic automation scripts using Bash, Python, or utilizing IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) under the guidance of a Senior.
  • Optimize costs and enhance security for Cloud infrastructure.
  • Draft and update technical guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clients.

II. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Cloud platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
  • Good understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS.
  • Foundational knowledge of Cloud Computing. Priority is given to candidates with internship or project experience related to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Basic understanding of Docker or possessing Cloud certifications from AWS/GCP.
  • Good ability to self-study and research technical documents in English.
  • Logical and systematic troubleshooting mindset.
  • High sense of responsibility, willing to coordinate in troubleshooting urgent incidents.
  • Good English communication skills.
